If the Voice button on the steering wheel doesn’t enable Google Assistant or Siri, follow these steps for troubleshooting.
- Inspect the LED light on the PAC RP4-FD11 “blue box” interface. Does it flash when you press the button on the steering wheel? If not, follow the instructions on page 2 of the RP4-FD11 instructions.
- If the light flashes but Google Assistant or Siri does not activate, check the firmware version on the RP4-FD11. The firmware must be 1.5.4.6 or higher. If the version is lower than that, you will need to update the interface using the PAC-UP interface updater and the relevant firmware available on the PAC RP4-FD11 product page located here. For information on using the PAC-UP, please refer to the video here. Please note that the video reflects the old PAC website.
