Android phone: Contacts not importing

If your contacts were not imported when using Android Auto, it may be due to not allowing the necessary permissions or a glitch in the initial connection setup. To import your contacts, follow these steps.

1. Delete the phone from the radio.
2. Delete the radio from the phone.
3. Restart the phone.
4. With the phone unlocked and the vehicle's parking brake enabled, plug the phone into the radio.
5. Follow the prompts on the phone and the radio. Allow any permissions that come up.
6. Android Auto will establish the Bluetooth connection and then import the contacts.
