If you cannot hear the person on the call, follow the steps below to sort out the problem.
- Is the correct speaker connector plugged into? If the wrong connector was used, simply connect to the correct connector and then test again. This is best done with the PAC data interface module unplugged.
- For models with a factory subwoofer, you must be connected to the speaker connector labeled Amplified.
- For models without a factory subwoofer, you must be connected to the speaker connector labeled Non-Amplified.
- For Stinger radios that are not plug n' play, make sure front channels from the radio are connected to the rear inputs on the PAC data interface module. Refer to the kit instructions for further details.
- Does the Jeep have an aftermarket amplifier powering the high speakers?
- Make sure the fader in the radio works. Play some music and fade to the front speakers. If you don’t hear anything then that means the amplifier has been configured wrong. Usually this is caused by an input select switch in 2ch mode.
- Are the front speakers working?
- If the front speakers are blown then you won’t hear the caller as the caller audio comes through the front speakers.
